Pool & Clubhouse

Walton Park has one of the nicest community pools in our area.  It's Olympic sized with a 10 foot diving well and a 3 foot shallow area.  Our toddler pool has a beach front entrance and fun squirt fountains.  We have a great snack bar that won't break your piggy bank, a covered picnic area, and raised deck seating.

Our pool is open daily from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day and select weekends in September.  Three times a year we close early to host swim meets.  Occasionally, we have to reschedule a swim meet on another evening.  And like all other pools, we close when there is inclement weather to protect our residents and our staff.

Our clubhouse has a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a large outdoor patio with ceiling fans and it accommodates 135 people.  And association members get discounted rental rates!

Guests are welcome at the Walton Park pool!  They must be accompanied by a member.  Our guest fees are $7.00 per person over age 2 and $3.00 per child under 2.  There is no fee for members to have a babysitter or nanny take their child/children to the pool.

Pool Rules:

Lifeguards enforce the pool rules and make adjustments when necessary. Lifeguards have the authority to stop any practice they deem unsafe or inappropriate.  Lifeguards may ban a person or people from the pool property if their behavior is unacceptable.

  • Only people with a paid membership in good standing may sign into and use the pool.

  • Members are required to sign in at the gate with a pool employee.  If no one is at the sign in area, members must wait for an employee.  Failure to do so can result in forfeiture of your membership without a refund.

  • Members must declare when they have guests and pay the guest fee per person at sign in.  Our guest fees are $7.00 per person over age 2 and $3.00 per child under age 2.

  • When there is thunder, everyone must exit the pool for 20 minutes.  The clock resets after every thunder.

  • When there is lightening, everyone must exit the pool and leave the property.  Pools are very dangerous places to be during lightening.  Make sure there is a plan for your children in case they must leave the pool immediately due to lightening.  Some storms cause the pool to be closed for the rest of the day.

  • No running.

  • No squirt guns.

  • No throwing children into the air.

  • No pushing people into the pool.

  • No putting children on your shoulders.

  • No ball throwing during busy pool periods.

  • Only one person may be on the diving board at a time.

  • Parents must remain within 2 feet of children on flotation devices.

  • No googles or flotation devices may be used while going off the diving board.

  • No one may swim in the 10 foot area (dive well) if someone wants to use the diving board.
