2021 Pool Rules and Pool Policies (1 of 2)
Opening Day: May 29, 2021
Lifeguards enforce the pool rules and make adjustments when necessary. Lifeguards have the authority to stop any practice they deem unsafe or inappropriate. Lifeguards may ban a person or people from the pool property if their behavior is unacceptable.
Only people with a paid membership in good standing may sign into and use the pool.
Members are required to sign in at the gate with a pool employee. If no one is at the sign in area, members must wait for an employee. Failure to do so can result in forfeiture of your membership without a refund.
When there is thunder, everyone must exit the pool for 20 minutes. The clock resets after every thunder.
When there is lightening, everyone must exit the pool and leave the property. Pools are very dangerous places to be during lightening. Make sure there is a plan for your children in case they must leave the pool immediately due to lightening. Some storms cause the pool to be closed for the rest of the day.
No squirt guns.
No throwing children into the air.
No pushing people into the pool.
No putting children on your shoulders.
No ball throwing during busy pool periods.
Only one person may be on the diving board at a time.
Parents must remain within 2 feet of children on flotation devices.
No goggles or flotation devices may be used while going off the diving board.
No one may swim in the 10 foot area (dive well) if someone wants to use the diving board.
